Good morning, warm welcome to one and all present here. I welcome our
distinguished guests: Mr. Tholkapian, our Director Sir, our Treasurer Mrs.
Prema Subramanium mam, and Mr. Sundaramurthy sir, our Academic Director,
our Rathna bai mam, principal of ABS Vidhyala and our principals of both ABS
Vidhya Mandhir. Today we celebrate Teachers Day, a day to honor and
appreciate the teachers who help us to discover our passion and have inspired us
to dream big. Without any further delay let’s get into our programs.
2. School prayer
Prayer is way in which we speak with god. When we pray, god listens. When
we listen, god speaks. When we believe, god works. Now may I request you all
to stand for the prayer song?
3. Welcome address
It is my pleasure to invite Kriti of class 10 to welcome the gathering with her
beautiful words.
Thank you so much for your welcoming words.
4. Message of the day
A gathering without a message is meaningless. Now I call upon Mr
Sundaramurthy sir, our Academic Director, a man of ideas to share his ideas on
this auspicious occasion.

5. Presidential address
A day of joy, fun and blessing. It happens only when our teachers speak. I now
request our treasurer mam, Dr. Prema Subramanium to address the gathering.
Thank you, mam for your wonderful message.
6. Speech in Tamil
Learning subjects in different languages is difficult but learning the subjects in
our native language will nourish our minds. Now I request Gopika of class 9 of
Abs Vidhalaya to articulate a few words in Tamil.

7. Speech in English
Our speech is the language of our hearts and soul. I call upon Anuj of class 12
to give us a speech on this significant day.

8. Classical dance
Dance is the hidden language of our soul, without any further ado, we invite our
students to perform a classical dance to honour their mentors.
Such a wonderful dance. We thank Atchaya of class 9 for assisting this
wonderful performance.
9. Song
Great artists are people who find a way to be themselves in their art. I would
like to call upon our musicians and singers to enlighten us with their
instruments and voices.
This performance wouldn’t have been possible without Lakshmi Shree, our
cultural secretory and Sriram of class 11. Thank you.
10. Fusion dance
Art of happiness lies in remembrance. Art of fusion lies in dance. Now, I
request our vidhyalaya students to entertain us with their performance.
Such wonderful coordination takes a lot of teamwork. Thank you, Sujith, of
class 11 for making this possible.
11. Mime
Actions speak louder than words. Acting by thoughtfulness brings you
intelligence and wit. Now I call upon our actors of ABS Vidhya mandhir to
express themselves through their mime.
Thank you, Sanjana, our Assistant sports secretary and the students of class 9
who made this wonderful programme.
12. Western dance
Dance is expression. Dance is passion. Dance is who you are. I am pleased to
welcome our students to express themselves through Western dance.
Such a wonderful dance. This performance wouldn’t have been possible today
without Akashaya, assistant cultural secretary and Thirumalesh of class 9.
13. Vote of thanks
To express our heart full gratitude towards our teachers, I call upon our ASPL
Ilakiya of class 9 to deliver the vote of thanks.
