WORK IMMERSION
NARRATIVE REPORT
Simulation on Government Document Acquisition
On March 1, 2024, us Grade 12 students participated in a simulation aimed at familiarizing us with the process of
acquiring essential government documents. The simulation commenced at 8:30 AM and lasted until 12:00 NN, during
which we, the students, were divided into two groups. HUMSS, TVL, and ABM students concentrated on obtaining
Cedula & Barangay Clearance as well as Police Clearance & NBI, whereas STEM students gave priority to acquiring
SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth documents.
Prior to the simulation, we, the Grade 12 students, were instructed to arrive fully prepared in our complete daily
uniforms. With a clear understanding of the task at hand, we were informed about the specific documents we needed to
acquire: Cedula & Barangay Clearance, Police Clearance & NBI, SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth. Led by our respective
teachers, we navigated through stations designated for obtaining the needed documents.
Here are the Designated Areas and Teachers in Charge in the Simulation:
1. Cedula & Barangay Clearance
With Teacher Michael Dabu leading the way at the High School Pathway, we learned how to acquire the Cedula and
Barangay Certificate. He patiently guided us through the process, making sure we understood the forms and how to fill
them out correctly. As we followed his instructions, we not only learned how to get these documents but also why they
are important for our future.

Under Teacher Mary Rose Domingo's guidance at the Gym, we proceeded to obtain our Police Clearance and NBI
clearance. With her help, we learned why these documents are important and how to go about acquiring them. Through
her guidance, we gained a clearer understanding of the responsibilities that come with these documents.

3. SSS
At the High School Lobby, under the supervision of Teacher Daryl-Hans Cortez, we began our document acquisition
journey with the SSS station. Upon arrival, we signed in to receive our documents, marking the first step of the process.
Here, we learned the value of patience as we encountered long lines. Meanwhile, Teacher Jerrymie Calimlim guided us
through filling out the SSS form, making sure we understood every detail. Through this experience, we learned about the
importance of patience and gained practical knowledge about the SSS application process.

After completing the SSS station, we
proceeded to the PAG-IBIG station at the Elementary Lobby, under the supervision of Teacher Jerrymie Calimlim.
Similarly, we began by signing in to receive our documents. Teacher Jerrymie guided us through the process of filling out
the PAG-IBIG forms, emphasizing their importance for our future endeavors. With his assistance, we gained valuable
insights into answering the forms correctly, ensuring we were well-prepared for our future engagements.

5. PhilHealth
At the Gym station, under the supervision of Teacher Hilda S. Alipio, we tackled the PhilHealth documents. Teacher
Hilda provided invaluable assistance as she guided us through filling out the forms. Before receiving our documents, we
signed in, a familiar step in the process. Teacher Hilda checked the information we provided, ensuring accuracy. Once
confirmed, she signed off on our documents, affirming their correctness and completeness. Through this, we gained
confidence in completing essential paperwork and understood the importance of accuracy in such matters.

Receiving of Documents
As we went through the steps of getting different documents, we learned what was needed, how to do it, and why each
document was important. We were taught by different teachers and saw how crucial it is to have the right paperwork for
things like jobs, more schooling, or other activities in the future. The simulation was super helpful for us, Grade 12
students, because it gave us real skills and important info for when we become adults. By getting all the needed
government documents and taking part in the simulation, we feel more ready for the responsibilities that come with being
active and informed members of society.
