1. Introduction:
Facebook invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the provision of IT
infrastructure equipment as per the specifications outlined in this tender document.
2. Scope of Work:
The scope of work includes the supply and delivery of the following IT infrastructure
equipment:
1. Servers:
Rack-mounted servers for data center applications.
Specifications: Dual-socket, Intel Xeon processors, ECC memory, hot-swappable
HDD/SSD bays.
2. Networking Equipment:
Switches, routers, and firewalls for network connectivity and security.
Specifications: Layer 3 switching, IPv6 support, VPN capabilities, minimum 10
Gbps throughput.
3. Storage Solutions:
SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) solutions for
data storage.
Specifications: Redundant controllers, RAID configurations, scalability options.
4. Backup Systems:
Tape libraries or disk-based backup appliances for data backup and recovery.
Specifications: Automated backup and restore capabilities, encryption, high-
capacity storage.
5. Power Infrastructure:
Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and power distribution units (PDUs) for
power management.
Specifications: Online double-conversion, N+1 redundancy, remote monitoring.
3. Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, bidders must meet the following criteria:
Registered and licensed to conduct business in the relevant jurisdiction.
Have experience in supplying IT infrastructure equipment to large-scale
enterprises.
Financially stable with the ability to fulfill the requirements of the contract.
