2. HOW TO WORK ON GROUP ASSIGNMENTS
After completing the module, typically on Saturdays, you can expect to receive an
announcement regarding the assignment in your dedicated Telegram assignment group. The
assignment instructions will contain all the necessary information for you to successfully
tackle the assignment. The assignment entails collaborating with your group members to
create a presentation on a specific topic, following pre-established guidelines and adhering
to set deadlines.
- The assignment check meeting usually take place on Saturdays, two weeks after the
module has been conducted.
- The meetings are held via Zoom, and they are recorded and uploaded to our platform with
the groups' presentation files.
- Each group will be assigned a specific assignment topic.
« Each group will collaborate among its members to prepare a presentation, and
subsequently, choose 1-3 students from the group to present it.
« Once each group has completed their individual presentation, the remaining groups are
welcome to engage in a question-and-answer session.
- The Presentation Requirements are:
a. The duration of the presentation is about 10-15 minutes, and the presentation must
contain two main parts: the first part is the theoretical side, and the second part is the
practical side (practical examples or case studies of companies where students work
or for famous brands).
b. The presentation is expected to last approximately 10-15 minutes. It must consist of
two main parts: the first part should focus on the theoretical aspects, while the
second part should provide real-world insights through practical examples or case
studies from well-known brands or companies where students are employed.
c. The first slide should include the following information: (The topic, the group name,
names of the presenters, the date).
d. The last slide should contain the names of all participants, whether in preparing or
delivering the presentation.
e. The NEXT MBA's logo should be placed on the presentation slides.
f. Each group must adhere to the deadlines that will be set for each assignment
regarding selecting presenters and uploading the presentation.
3. EXCLUDING INACTIVE STUDENTS FROM GROUP
ASSIGNMENTS
NEXT MBA has the right to remove inactive students from assignments groups. Inactive
student is a student who does not participate in 4 assignments in row. In other words, if
any student does not participate in at least one assignment from his/her last four
assignments, he/she will be removed from his/her assignments group. Being excluded
from a group does not impede a student's ability to attend live sessions or access the
student portal. This will only restrict their involvement in the group assignments. Once
inactive student is excluded from his/her group, it is not possible to re-add him/her back.
This procedure aims to support the groups and promote teamwork within each group, since
the presence of inactive members negatively affects the groups work.
4. CERTIFICATES TYPES
Next MBA offers a certificate upon successful completion of any of NEXT MBA's
comprehensive courses. Our certificate showcases the names of renowned industry
experts and many thought leaders. NEXT MBA provides three types of certificates:
1. Certificate of Participation (Module Certificate): This certificate is awarded to the student
for each module he/she attends and participates in its assignment.
2. Certificate of Completion (Course Completion Certificate): This certificate is awarded to
the student at the end of the course if he/she attends all modules (12 modules) and
participates in at least (7) assignments.
3. Certificate of Attendance: This certificate is awarded to the student at the end of the
course if he/she attends all modules (12 modules) and does not participate in the
assignments.
FAQs
1. I've joined the group. What should I do next?
You've taken a significant step forwardl Now you are part of a diverse and talented group,
consisting of specialists and professionals from all over the world.
5
Please take a moment to introduce yourself, extend a warm greeting to your new colleagues
and start working on your first assignment. Please note that the modules are not sequential,
so a student can join the course and work on the assignments from any module. Therefore,
when you join your group, you may find students who have joined the group before you are
working on their assignments. NEXT MBA will add all new students to their groups twice a
month: 7 days before their course starts, and for those who fill in the form within 6 days
before the course starts, they will be added on the day of the first event (The Monthly Talk/
Applied Studies).
2. How can I start working on the current assignment?
Groups can organize themselves in any way they find most suitable for all participants. The
primary objective for each group is to ensure the presentation is well completed before the
deadline (within two weeks). Consequently, it is essential for all participants to contribute
towards achieving this goal. To accomplish this, we suggest initially establishing clear
guidelines for each participant, for example: assign a group / assignment leader, speakers,
writers, proofreader, designers, researchers ... To do so: first, please start your work by
opening a DOC file and a PPT file in NEXT MBA's cloud folder given in the assignment'’s
instructions, and let all the participants write their names and roles. Then, suggest the
theoretical aspects you are going to discuss and suggest the practical cases you are going
to cover. Please refine your findings and results by taking group decisions over Telegram'’s
Poll or group video calls.
3.1 was unable to attend the live session. Will there be recordings available for the
current session?
All sessions are recorded and then uploaded to the student's portal. The main sessions can
be accessed under the 'Recordings’ section. The additional lectures, applied studies lectures,
and assignment check meetings are all different taps that can be found in the 'Library’
section. Please note that you will only be able to view those recordings that have been
uploaded since you started using the portal.
4. When will receive my next assignment?
In line with the monthly module structure of your course, you can expect to be given a
corresponding assignment every month on Saturdays. Once the current live session
concludes, you will receive an assignment to complete within a two-week timeframe.
You can already access the announcement for it on the main student's portal at this link:
https://members.nextmba.com/home.
5. I completed the Google form and joined the assignment group a while after
registering on the platform, is it possible for me to catch up on the assignments I
missed?
All the assignments are done as group work, so catching up on the missed assignments is
Infeasible. However, there are still plenty of assignments that you can work on collaboratively
with your group to fulfill the requirements for the certificate.
6. I can't be a presenter due to time difference, but I can assist in preparing the
presentation. Can I receive the module certificate in this case?
Assignment is counted as passed for you if you participated in its preparation in any role, not
just as a presenter.
7. Where can I find the recordings of the sessions that were announced in the
schedule?
Recordings for all sessions are uploaded to the NEXT MBA site, but it usually takes a few days
for them to become available. To access the recordings, please refer to your student's portal,
where the main sessions can be accessed under the 'Recordings' section. The applied
studies lectures, and assignment check meetings are all different taps that can be found in
the 'Library' section.
8. How can I continue to engage with the course after the assignment presentation?
Once you have presented your work, you can look forward to a well-deserved break of
approximately two weeks before embarking on your next module. During this period, we
have specially arranged scheduled Applied Studies lectures on weekdays to ensure you stay
actively engaged with the course topic. This will allow you to deepen your understanding and
