Learning Objectives
Learning Objective(s) At the end of the cycle, trainees will be able to:
1. Establish and run a Mobile Repairing unit
2. Repair and Diagnose Problems of all kinds of faults in Mobile Phone
3. Define Hardware/equipment and various software used for phone repairs.
4. Use appropriate tools, spares and software updates, conduct test for repairs,
5. Ensure admittance of faulty cellphone, prioritize and conduct repair activities in
time to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participatory Learning
Theoretical Activity 1. Review generations of cell Phones and state what are the expectations for this cycle.
2. Discuss final objectives for this cycle and what is need to complete before taking the
Module 3 Test
3. Explain the 3 types of Mobile phones that exist.
4. State what are the requirements needed before opening a mobile phone.
5. Display the proper steps of dissembling a Mobile Phone
6. Discuss the parts that will be examined for the practical aspect for this cycle
Practical Activity 1. Define Parts of a mobile phone and explain how each one functions individually
2. Research on Google and insert images of internal parts of a Mobile Phone on a
document.
3. Bring proper tools and equipment to the classroom for the practical sessions
4. Follow steps given by the instructor and ensure that the workplace is clean before
starting a Practical
5. Work in pairs or groups incase some trainees do not have their own tools
6. Disassemble a typical Mobile phone and label each part
7. Assemble the phone back to how it was originally
8. Disassemble and assemble various models of Cell Phone from the older generation
to newer generations.
