Overview
ENGFit Toolbox is a free collection of assessment modules in a single, user-friendly
software package. ENGFit contains an expanding number of assessment modules
based on the guidelines in BSI, ASME, API, TEMA, MTD, etc. and other
internationally recognized codes, standards and assessment procedures. The
number of users of ENGFit is growing rapidly and this toolbox is expected to become
the de facto software tool as it continues to develop, for all of the existing, new and
alternative fitness for service (FFS) assessment procedures.
ENGFit can be used for re-rating damaged components and reverse design analysis
of standard pressure vessel components. The software contains an integrated ASME
Section II Part D materials database indexed to year of construction. The software is
used by major operators and engineering consultants in the oil and gas production,
oil refining, petrochemical, and fossil power industries. ENGFit includes worked
examples for all fitness for service assessment modules for ease of learning for
engineers new to FFS (see the menu Calculation Examples).
