BACKUP PROCEDURE USING
AOMEI BACKUPPER
APPLICATION

Troubleshooting Guide (TSG)
Problem: NO SPECIFIC AND UNDEFINED FREQUENCY OF MACHINE PROGRAM BACKUP.
Root Cause: CORRUPTED OR CRASHED HDD/SSD.
Impact: AVOID MACHINE IDLE TIME OR PROLONGED DOWNTIME.
Step 1: OPEN THE PROGRAM.
1. Click ‘start’ button or press the
Windows key on the keyboard.
2. In the ‘start’ menu, click the ‘All
programs’ button.
3. Select ‘AOMEI Backupper, then
click ‘AOMEI Backupper 6.1’.

Step 2: ONCE THE PROGRAM IS OPEN, CLICK THE ‘SYSTEM BACKUP’ TAB THEN INPUT THE TASK NAME.
Task Name Format
YYYYMMDD_MACHINENO._PROCESS
Example:
20230109_DCAS016_DA
Step 3: OPEN DRIVE C THEN ‘CLICK SHARE/NAS’ TAB

Click ‘Add Share
or NAS Devices’
again.

Step 4: INPUT ACCESS INFORMATION.
Access Details
Toggle the ‘anonymous’ Display Name: MachineOSBackup
button to enable
username and password Network Path: \\172.17.0.106
field.
Username: “your nws username”
Password: “nws password”
Step 5: GO TO NETWORK LOCATION, SELECT ‘MachineOSBackup’ MENU,FIND THE PROCESS AND MACHINE
AND THEN CLICK ‘OK’.

Step 6: TO START BACKUP, CLICK ‘Start Backup’.
The backup progress will be displayed until it reach
100%. It means that the backup has been completed
successfully
Step 7: TO FINISH BACKUP CLICK ‘Finish’ AND EXIT THE PROGRAM.
