Analysis Session
An SAP release upgrade normally requires some changes in the SAP system, database, and operating
system configuration. Hardware must also meet the new requirements. The technical quality check for
Upgrade - analysis session, identifies potential resource bottlenecks prior to performing the upgrade which
you can then correct in advance.
As a result of the analysis session, you receive an extensive report containing detailed recommendations for
optimizing performance. Some of the recommendations can be implemented before the SAP release
upgrade, while other parameters have to be considered after the upgrade.
Verification Session
The verification session provides corrective measures for avoiding potential bottlenecks. It consists of a
system analysis that checks system performance after the new SAP release upgrade. In this way, any areas
in your system that need additional optimization can be identified promptly.
After the verification session, you receive the results of the system analysis and the recommendations for
improving system performance in a detailed report.
When to Use
If you are planning an upgrade project or if you are performing an upgrade, the technical quality check for
Upgrade service can assist you in ensuring a smooth upgrade in a planned time schedule.
