Q1. Describe the anchor tag.
1. The anchor tag is used to create a link. It is denoted by <a>…</a>, with <a> as the opening tag
and </a> as the closing tag. It is a container tag.
Q2. Explain the src and alt attribute of <img> tag.
2. src: src stands for “source”. The src attribute defines the path or the URL of the image to be
inserted.
alt: alt stands for “alternate”. This attribute is useful if an image cannot be displayed by the
browser. In that case, it will show the text written with the alt attribute as image details.
Q3. Describe how will you link web pages in HTML5.
3. A website consists of several pages that provide access to related information. HTML enables
linking of web pages with the help of hyperlinks. A hyperlink is an underlined text or image
which when clicked leads to another location. Hyperlinked text is generally blue in color, and
hovering the mouse pointer over a link, turns it into a hand shaped cursor.
Q 4. Describe <audio> and <source> elememts.
4. The HTML5 <audio> element allows you to embed an audio in the web page. The <source>
element allows you to specify audio files with different formats which the browser may
choose from.
Q5. Explain the purpose of <iframe> elememt in brief.
5. An iframe element is used to specify an inline frame. An inline frame enables you to embed
another document within your web page.
