Trigger Mapping Exercise

This exercise is designed to help you identify the situations, thoughts, and feelings that
trigger your anger and time management challenges. Please take your time to reflect on
recent experiences and fill in the details for each category.

Step 1: Reflect on Recent Incidents

Think about the last week and identify moments when you felt particularly angry or
overwhelmed with time management. Answer the following questions to guide your
reflection:

• Can you recall a recent situation where you felt really angry? What was happening at that
moment?

• Think about a time when you felt stressed about managing your time. What were you
doing, and what thoughts were going through your mind?

Step 2: Map the Triggers

For each incident you recalled, fill in the details below. Be as specific as possible.

Situations/Events Thoughts Emotions Physical Sensations

Step 3: Discuss Patterns

Once you have filled in the details, take a moment to review your responses. Do you notice
any patterns or common triggers?
