EDUCATION
FROM 2021 TO 2024
BACHELOR OF CIVIL ENGINEERING WITH HONOURS, UNIVERSITY OF TASMANIA
I am currently studying third year of civil engineering at UTAS. I am eager to gain practical and
professional engineering experience at your company. I have completed several projects during my
studying course that related to the civil major:
1. Design and build a bridge challenge.
2. Design and build mobile device for one-arm people kayaking.
3. Design and build a motor trolley carrying weight competition.
4. Steel evacuation staircase structural analysis.
5. Six floors timber floor-plan design and analysis.
6. Landslides, shallow and pile foundations analytical report.
EXPERIENCES
STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS / Bridge challenge project
Designed and analysed bridge structure to maximise weight load endurance.
AUTODESK INVENTOR DESIGN / One arm kayaking device
Used Autodesk Inventor to design and build the one arm device.
AUTODESK INVENTOR DESIGN / Motor trolley project
Performed as a team leader role to design product, assign member’s task, manage project’s schedule.
SPACEGASS DESIGN / Simple shed design
Used SpaceGass to design a proposed structure then investigate its dead loads, combination forces,
buckling and vibration factors.
ANALYSING STEEL STAIRCASE / Structural calculations
Analysed combination load case and member compressive capacity by using Excel and read materials
from standard engineering resources.
DESIGN TIMBER PROJECT / Timber floor-plan design
Sketched GA plan and member schedule from Australian Standard for beam members, columns,
joists, flooring and demonstrated serviceability, bending capacity, and slenderness buckling.
LANDSILDES, SHALLOW AND PILE FOUNDATIONS / Theoretical report
Generally investigated soil crack in Taroona’s landslides, theoretical calculations for shallow and pile
foundations design.
