1. Research a computer engineering communication sample for the following.

Title: Microcontroller-Based Temperature Measurement System Design Review

A. Design Review
Objective: To evaluate the design of a microcontroller-based temperature measurement system using
the Arduino platform.
Key Components:
• Microcontroller: Arduino Uno
• Sensors: LM35 temperature sensor
• Display: LCD for output visualization
• Communication: Bluetooth module for remote monitoring
Discussion Points:
1. Design Compliance: The system meets the specifications outlined in the project proposal,
including accuracy and response time.
2. Strengths: The use of widely available components facilitates easy replication and modification.
3. Weaknesses: Potential issues with Bluetooth connectivity in environments with high
interference.
Feedback and Recommendations:
• Consider implementing a more robust wireless communication method if interference is observed
during testing.
• Additional testing is required to ensure accuracy across a broader temperature range.

B. Lab Report
Abstract: This report details the design, implementation, and testing of a temperature measurement
system using an Arduino microcontroller and an LM35 sensor.
Introduction: The purpose of this experiment was to develop a reliable temperature measurement
system that can be used in various applications, such as environmental monitoring.
Methods:
• Setup: The LM35 sensor was connected to the Arduino's analog input. The LCD was interfaced
to display the temperature readings.
• Procedure: Code was uploaded to the Arduino to read sensor data and display it on the LCD.
Results:
• The system successfully displayed temperatures ranging from 0°C to 100°C with an accuracy of
±0.5°C.
• Data collected over multiple trials showed consistent results.
Discussion: The results indicate that the system functions as intended, but further calibration may be
necessary for high precision applications.
C. Proposal
Objective: To design and implement a temperature measurement system using an Arduino
microcontroller that can accurately measure and display temperature readings.
1. Background Information: Accurate temperature measurement is critical in various fields,
including environmental science and industrial applications.
2. Goals and Objectives:
• Develop a prototype using an LM35 sensor.
• Create a user-friendly interface for displaying temperature readings.
3. Methods:
• Utilize Arduino IDE for programming.
• Implement an LCD display for real-time data output.
4. Budget Estimate: Total project cost is estimated at $500, covering components and materials.
D. Operating Procedure
1. Purpose: To provide instructions for setting up and operating the temperature measurement
system.
2. Materials Needed:
• Arduino Uno
• LM35 Temperature Sensor
• LCD Display
• Jumper Wires
3. Procedure Steps:
1. Connect the LM35 sensor to the Arduino's analog input pin.
2. Wire the LCD display according to the schematic provided.
3. Upload the code to the Arduino using the Arduino IDE.
4. Power on the system and observe the LCD for temperature readings.
4. Safety Precautions: Ensure all connections are secure before powering on to avoid short circuits.

E. Progress Report
