What is the associative property?
ASSOCIATIVE
1x6x2=12 PROPERTY:

• the order you multiply


the factors does not
(1x6)x2=12 matter
• you can multiply any
two factors first, then
1x(6x2)=12 multiply the product by
the third factor
• the product will always
be same
