Ans=> UserRoleAssignment Entity used to assign the role to user ex:-

primary assignment. primary assignment assigns an entity to a single owner
only. The entity must implement either the Assignable delegate or the
PCAssignable delegate, or both.

Ans=> If we set independent attribute as true in wizard step then wizard
step set allows all the steps contains inside set to move from one step to
another individually. As the user moves through the wizard, the wizard calls
functions in the job code for processing and may indirectly access rule sets
and workflows. The job code contains most of the code for the job and also
interacts with the rule sets and workflows. In some cases, the wizard
accesses the workflow directly.
16.What is a job wizard's entry point? What other elements of the user
interface reference a job wizard's entry point?
Ans=> Entry points used to link specific pages location. An entry point takes
the form of a URL with a specific syntax and job wizard’s entry point
specifies a location. Entry Point Parameter, Exit Point Parameter and
Forward condition are the elements in job wizard.
17.What is underwriting authority?
Ans=> Underwriting is the process of examining, accepting, or rejecting
insurance risks and classifying the ones that are accepted, in order to charge
appropriate premiums for them. Underwriting authority profiles determine
the types of underwriting issues that a particular underwriter can approve.
When the underwriter approves an underwriting issue then policy
transaction can proceed. Underwriting authority in PolicyCenter provides
features for creating underwriting issues on a policy and for reviewing and
approving those issues.
18.What does the UWIssueType system table define?
Ans=> The UWIssueType system table defines issue types for underwriting
and regulatory policy holds. You can view this table in Product Designer by
navigating to System Tables and selecting uw_issues_types.xml. The
following table lists some of the values in the UWIssueType system table for
policy hold underwriting issue types. When a policy hold applies,
PolicyCenter creates an underwriting issue of one of the policy hold types
specified in the UWIssueType system table.
19.What does an evaluation rule do?
Ans=> Create issues automatically in the Evaluation rule sets in Guidewire
Studio. When PolicyCenter calls the Evaluation rule sets at various points
during renewal, the system identifies and generates underwriting issues.

20.What values should be used as IssueKey to raise issues? Should this


value be changed after a rule is in production?
Ans=> We can use any value (text template) as a issuekey but it should be
unique. No, It should be never changed after rule in production.

Ans=> Checking sets are the places in a policy transaction where
PolicyCenter checks to see if an issue needs to be raised. You specify a
checking set value for each underwriting rule. For example, PolicyCenter
checks for high-valued vehicles before quoting the policy.

23.With regards to field-level validation, under what circumstances would


you use a <column-override> tag?
Ans=> <column-override> use to modify data type attributes such as size,
logicalSize, and encryption, add a columnParam subelement under a
column-override. Then, set the data type attributes on the columnParam.

24.What happens if a widget's validation expression returns null?


Ans=> If widget's validation expression returns null then the written
validation Is not going to validate the required condition and field will
accept the invalid values.

new level can be added.

Ans=> In this condition instead of using warning level parameter use error
level parameter then it will raise an error.
