Bleed

To set up bleed ppen dialog box:

1. Choose File > Document Setup.
Click Bleed and Slug to expand it.
2. Enter the bleed 5mm in one of the fields
3. click the Make all settings the same icon to
extend the bleed evenly on all sides.
4. Click OK.

Tip: If you enter “5mm” InDesign will translate it

into default units for you.

mm), for the cover you have to create a document
that will have the same height and twice the width

In the Package dialog box, an alert icon

indicates problem areas.

Navigate down through the options and check the

box that says Show Problems Only for each option.

1. Click the problem area and then correct

the problem.
2. Click Package to begin packaging.

Give your packaged folder a descriptive name

and choose a location to save it.

Make sure to select the following :

1. Copy Fonts Copies all necessary font files, not the entire typeface.
2. Copy Linked Graphics
3. Update Graphic Links In Package
4. Include IDML

RGB to CMYK

Once the folder pakage is created,

go to the link folder and here you can
find all your images to convent
in CMYK.

To convert RGB files to CMJK

1. Open your image rgb in Photoshop
2. Choose Image > Mode
3. Then Mode > CMYK
4. Save in the link folder ( in JPG)
