DEDICATION
I want to dedicate this book to the people who do not believe
in themselves, who are struggling in one way or the other or
for those who are depressed but you know what God has a
great plan and future for you and he loves you so don't give up
on yourself because God hasn't given up on you.
CHAPTER ONE
PUT GOD FIRST
This is a very important and the most crucial criteria in building
yourself. We need God for everything. You can't do everything all by
yourself unless you got disappointed.
My love, let's look at what GOD says in Mathew 6:33.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all
these things shall be added unto you.
You start to give up when you don't give into God's words and yes, do
not doubt God's word.
Let me share with you a true life story of me. There was a particular
day I was having a feeling of doubt about God's word. Anyone I
prayed for I always feel doubt thinking my prayers are not going to be
answered and because of this I realized I became that doubting
Thomas in the bible but when I always see result to my prayers being
answered. I realized I gave up on hope.
A doubting mind is a troubling mind so have the mentality of an
expectation mind. I so much loved this song, “The Train by Jaymukee
and Lawrence Oyor which pays,
“There's a picture in my heart
An expectation in my spirit”
You must be expectant so as not to be disappointed as a result of
giving up.
Let your spirit be connected with GOD.
God doesn't deceive God makes a hopeless situation to become
hopeful.
Dear beloved, choose the right path of God so as to obtain the utmost
height and therefore you realize that giving up is not an option.
But there are some requirements one must attain to face the non-
giving up” altitude and they are:
a. You need to be born again. John 3:3
If you are only called a child of God therefore you are not going to be
bothered, but rather you would be encouraged. A sheep knows his
shepherd's voice the same goes with the other. If you truthfully called
a child of God you can't be discouraged.
“A true child of God is entitled for great things”
b. Know the voice of your FATHER
Obviously, we all know the voice of our earthly parents therefore
we must be eager and freely know the voice of our heavenly father.
If he's encouraging you, you would be able to know. One of the
things I've understood by my mentor Bishop David Oyedepo
“God does
“Not every door is God's door, some are traps from the devil in
disguise”.
So watch out, if God is giving you a backup from failing you'd be
able to know because you are a true child of God.
a. I have story to share with this, I was faced with
The ability of forgetting what I have read but one day I prayed
seriously about this and I had god's voice for the first time and it
was really amazing so I had to still and I shouldn't give up.” “Peace
be still and I shouldn't give up.”. It was from there I had the
inspiration that “Do not give up”.
b. Read books
You need to read books on encouragement yes! There are books
but not all books are to read. Why? Have that mentality of reading
for a change in this case for a positive change.
c. Do Pray
You need to pray because you don't have all the strength to do it
yourself but with the help of the almighty God and the Holy Spirit
that you will scale through higher heights in life.
So in many, Don't give up, don't quit, but instead give into God's
word, have a continuous engagement on the kingdom of God and
trust me, you'd be fine.
CHAPTER TWO
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF PHILIPIANS 4:13
“ I can do all do all things through Christ that strengthens me”.
Yes, you can, you can do it not all by yourself but with the help of God.
If you believe, you can do it, you can't
If you believe, you can make it, you can!
If you believe, you can achieve it, you can!
You are worth it, don' give up yet make possibilities, make achievements,
make daily plans for yourself hot to give up on your goals.
Believing in yourself creates a mindset for achievement.
Let me share with you a true life story of what really happened to me.
In my academic and school activities, I wasn't really smart or not that I
wasn't smart I had low self-esteem which really affected me since primary
school till I was in jss 1. When I read about self-esteem, when I built my
confidence and when I started reading books of course with prayers, I
started motivating myself, believing in myself that “ I can do it”. And luckily,
God saw me through.
So what I'm saying is that you need to start to believe in yourself. You have
what it takes to achieve great things. Let me also share with you the story
of my daddy.
“When my dad was still little, he had no one to believe in him, he needed
someone to keep on encouraging him but luckily he found the method of
believing in himself and guess what? He achieved it in life”.
The great people in this world, if you ask them how they achieved all of
their success they'd tell you that “Believing in yourself is what makes you”.
Of course, you have the backing of God the Father, the son and the Holy
Spirit and if they are surrounded round you trust me, you can make it.
Now say this after me,
“ I believe in myself, I know I can make it, I have the backing of heavenly
forces and with this I know that I am me and believing in myself is what
makes ME!”.
And love yourself because if you love yourself, you believe in yourself.
I LOVE YOU.
CHAPTER THREE
AFFIRMATIONS
I see affirmation as a bold declaration you say to yourself.
Affirmation can be said on a daily basis.
Affirmations are said to build your moral, esteem.
On a daily basis, I always affirm to myself
Now say this after me;
I am brave
I am smart
I am wonderful
I am beautiful
I am wonderfully made
I am courageous
I am not giving up
I am who I am by the Grace of God.
I am a terrorist to the devil.
And also, times when we feel what we're not looking too gorgeous
or feeling left out although it happens to me I always say
I am beautiful
I am cute
I am fantastic
I am gorgeous
The “I am always affirm to the subject you always use and
therefore it corresponds t what you're saying.
Our affirmation also causes a reflection in our lives.
When you want to give up or if you feel like giving up, remember
the words of affirmation according to Philp 4:13
“ I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”.
So what a I saying, when you affirm you declare and when you
declare you expect. Put lovely smile on your faces as this afternoon
gives you an inspiration on your confirmation.
So believed, affirm daily before when you sleep, before you sleep,
before you start any daily activities make sure you affirm for a
positive day.
CHAPTER FOUR
DON'T GIVE UP.
I have an acronym for “don't give up”
D down to earth
O obedient
N natural
T talent
G god
I intellectual
V valuable
E entertaining
U ultimate
P potential
· D down to earth
You need to be friendly and sincere to yourself through that you'
d realize that giving up is not an option
· O obedient
High level of obedience requires are's level of possibility. Why?
Follow your instinct and trust me you won't give up
· N natural
Be natural, do something very well and very easily and also be
yourself all the time
· T talent
Find out your talent, check out what you are really good at. Are
you good at singing? Are you good at sports? Are you good at
drawing or painting? Find our god's gifts god has given to you
· G god
This is the most important aspect. In whatever you do make sure
you always involve god at al times.
· I intellectual
You are intelligent, you are so brilliant , you are so smart. you
can do it. Channel your intelligence into something positive
· V valuable
You are valuable in the sight of god and men. God values you so
therefore you value yourself all the time
E entertaining
Find a way to always entertain yourself put smile on your face
all the time. You know your smile is beautiful right so make sure
you keep yourself funny all the time like talking to yourself, this
isn't madness not at all but you can talk to yourself if by
encouraging yourself if at all time
· U ultimate
Tell yourself that you are the best and the most extreme
example of its kind think ultimately
· P potential
You have the necessary ability to become successful in the
future. You've got good and great potential. You have the ability
that no one has. Use your potentials well and you'd realize that
you would be happy.
Summary
Giving up is not an option but it's a choice. You have great ability.
You are worth it but you realize that life isn't filled with up's and
downs. you'd face some challenges in life but please don't let that
guarantee you to give up

want to quit. But this book would make you realize that you have
a great future and don't give up because God hasn't given up on
you.
