INDIA-INDONESIA INVESTMENT SYNERGY FORUM: BRIDGING THE FUTURE

6th Dec. 2024, Jakarta

Concept Note

The Embassy of India and the India Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (IndCham), as part of
celebrations of 75 years of diplomatic relations with Indonesia, is hosting ‘’INDIA-INDONESIA
INVESTMENT SYNERGY FORUM: BRIDGING THE FUTURE’’ with an aim to find mutually beneficial
opportunities for investment collaboration that can drive sustainable growth in priority areas of our
large emerging economies, bringing the best of Make in India and Bangga Buatan Indonesia together.
With a new government now in full force in Indonesia, and a renewed enthusiasm between the
leadership to work closely in priority sectors, the investment forum can help build synergies in common
areas of interest like connectivity, industrialisation, healthcare, food security, financing and
digitalisation. The forum will set the tone for the business discussions during the 3rd India-Indonesia
CEO Forum, to be held alongside the upcoming visit of President Prabowo to India.
Aimed to attract top industry leaders, CEOs, key stakeholders from government, trade bodies,
investors, think tanks and the media, high level speakers and panelists with relevant expertise from
India and Indonesia will speak at the Forum for invigorating debate and discussions that can build
bridges to our shared vision of the future.
There will be two panel discussions which will be preceded by keynote addresses by the special
invitee speakers. Following panel discussions, a moderated Q&A session will take place. The two
thematic panel discussions aim to brainstorm on key policies & strategies that can be helpful to either
country to meet their growth objectives. These may be used as reference points for the discussions:

coming years, to fully realize the untapped potential of this relationship.
The event would be a befitting finale in the series of celebratory business events and new
