Language as an Instrument of Thought

Language is not only a means of communication but also a


powerful instrument of thought. It shapes our perceptions,
influences our thinking processes, and plays a crucial role in
cognitive development. This concept is vital in education, as it
highlights the relationship between language and learning.

A. Language influences how we perceive and interpret the
