A one-page thorough answer, by citing global examples like Globalization on Education (see
figure 1 below) or any other aspect of Globalization is acceptable. (20 points)
Economic globalization primarily involves the movement of goods and services, culture,
people, money, and also with the involvement of government or politics. Globalization and
development are two concepts that are intertwined with each other. It generates economic
growth and development in many countries. People from such development mainly benefit from
it as seen in the people’s daily lives, from doing simple tasks to performing complex duties.
Globalization is irreversible in the sense that it is a progressive event which results from
powerful innovation trends that will continuously prevail in the economy.
Evidently, one of the main examples is the technological advancement in several
countries because of globalization. Globalization fosters technological development in a sense
that a country innovates and adopts foreign technologies for them to keep up with the global
trends and to seek for further improvement. With the spread of knowledge and technology,
growth potential also spreads. According to Drew (2023), technological innovations as a result
of globalization allows every part of the world to engage in global competition offering quality
products and services to their customers. Furthermore, the exchange of technology between
nations fosters collaboration and cooperation. It encourages cross-border partnerships where
knowledge is shared, leading to mutual benefits for all involved parties. This collaborative
approach not only enhances technological capabilities but also promotes economic growth on a
global scale.
In conclusion, globalization has acted as a catalyst for shaping technological
innovations. This enabled countries to keep pace with global trends and meet the demands of
an interconnected world economy by providing quality goods and services to people.
Globalization indeed is irreversible as its related contributions in technological
advancements seem to be beneficial and continuously utilized in the betterment of the global
economy and people’s lives.
