DIFFRAC.SUITE TOPAS V.5.0 Release Notes
Installation
1. Log on to Microsoft Windows as an administrator.
2. Start DIFFRACTOPAS.exe.
3. Click “Next”.
4. Change the installation folder if required and click “Next”.
5. Select the “COD database” feature if the structure files from the Crystallography Open
Database should be installed and click “Next”.
6. Click “Install”.
7. Click “Finish”.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Operating system
- Windows XP SP3, Windows 7 32bit and 64bit, Windows 8 or 8.1 32 bit and 64bit
Minimum hardware configuration
TOPAS can be installed with the minimum configuration, but performance will be lower than expected.
- 2.0 GHz or higher CPU
- 1 GB of RAM
- 0.5 GB of free hard disk space
- 800 x 600 pixel screen size
Recommended hardware configuration
- 3.0 GHz or higher multi-core CPU
- 4 GB RAM
- 1 GB free hard disk space
- 1920 x 1080 pixel screen size
