The HoRNet Virtual Headphones System is a new solution for headphone mixing.
The HoRNet VHS
plugin brings frequency correction and room simulation to your headphones helping to mitigate the
not linear frequency response, the unnaturally wide stereo image and reintroducing the crossfeed
between your left and right ears.
Our plugin uses advanced algorithms to analyze and correct the frequency response of your
headphones, ensuring that your mixes will sound accurate on any playback system.
The HoRNet VHS offers a good solution for mission-critical applications like mixing. Indeed, with our
frequency response correction and room simulation technologies, you'll be able to hear the full depth
and dimension of your mix, just as if you were in a professional studio.
This will allow you not only to choose the right direction for your mix but also to share your mix with
other artists or engineers involved in the project without the bias of different headphones frequency
response.
However, headphones -in bundle with HoRNet VHS- could be the only feasible alternative for you
when you are on the go, or if your room (or studio) cannot be treated for sound or if you want to go for
some late night mixing without having to deal with irate neighbors.
The HoRNet VHS offers more than one hundred correction curves to correct the skewed frequency
response of the most common headphones (and we are planning to extend this collection in the near
feature).
You can easily select your headphones model in the sleek user interface of the plugin. The correction
curve applied and a reference image of your headphones will be shown in the monitor. Do you feel
confident with the frequency response of your headphones? No problem at all, you can easily
deactivate the HeadPhones Correction function and leave only the Room Correction function that
reintroduces the crossfeed (and little bit of natural ambient reverberation) and allows also to carefully
set the speaker position and the lister position.

1 When activated the HeadPhones correction linearizes the response of your
headphones
Here you can select your own headphones model among the more than 100
2 available.
This monitor shows you the correction curve applied to your headphones and of
3 course also shows a nice reference picture of the selected headphones.
When you feel bored with your two-dimensional mixing environment, activate the
4 room simulation and immerse yourself in the warm, three-dimensional listening
experience of a real room.
Fine tuning the position of the speaker in the room to re ect you real room and
5 with the listener knob set the perfect position for your ears relative to the
speakers.
