Context Variable
Declared values for the variable in different environment like DEV, QA, UAT and PROD.
Uses:
To avoid hardcore value in the component level.
If Hard core value changed in future need to change in all components and jobs. It will take lot of
time.
Types of Context Variable:
1. Implicit -> Static Values passed to the next component.
2. It’s unchecked in Default-> File Menu -> Edit Project Properties -> Job Settings-> Implicit
context.
3. Explicit -> Static and Dynamic Values are passed to the next component because used
tcontextload component.
Json :
The Above Entire Code is called JSON Object.
Results called root node all others are called elements.
Here 3 elements are there from rank 1 to rank 3. In that rank is called Key and 1,2,3 is value. The
same will applied for other rows also. Example Publisher is key and “Gallery/Scout” is value
Books called as array.
Tfileinputjson
LoopJSONQuery is very important.
If you want retrieve 1st element then mention ”$.results.books[0]” in LoopJSONQuery
If you want retrieve all the elements then mention”$.results.books[*]” in LoopJSONQuery
$. is common
We can use json file in tfileinputdelimited component and need specify only one column . that
column name is user defined(you can decide). For example result is column name and type is object
Textractjsonfields – It is used only after tfileinputdelimited component( but not sure)
XML :
In Loop XML Query use /dataset/record/ to retrieve all records from xml. Please find the below
