SUMMER INTERNSHIP
NOTICE
All the students of BE V SEM are hereby informed that they have to submit internship report as per
schedule The report should contain college certificate duly signed by coordinator & HOD along with
the pages i.e. introduction, about the industry and detailed work carried out in the Industry during the
internship program.
The students are advised to take the approval of the HOD and summer internship coordinator
before spiral binding.
PREPARATION OF THE TECHNICAL REPORT
1.1 Size:
The Summer Internship Technical Report should be prepared in A4 size paper and to be
submitted to the concern in-charge.
1.2 Paper, Typing & Format:
Bond paper should be used for the preparation of the Summer Internship Technical report.
Typing should be done on the 12 Font size letter, Times New Roman
The layout should provide 1½ inch on the left side, 1 inch on top and bottom & 1 inch on
the right side.
Fresh Para should commence after five spaces. Double spacing shall be provided
throughout the Summer Internship Technical Report. Technical Report should contain 15
to 25 pages.
The page number shall be indicated at the bottom middle of the each page.
1.3 Binding:
The Summer Internship report shall be properly spiral bound.
1.4 Cover page (First page):

1.5 Second page :
Blank sheet
1.6 Third page:
The third page should contain a certificate signed by the HOD and
Coordinator for summer internship as per template II.
1.7 Fourth page:
The fourth page should contain a certificate (Xerox) issued by the industry
for summer internship
1.8 Fifth page:
The fifth page may include the ‘Acknowledgement’.
1.9 Sixth page:
The sixth page may contain an abstract of the Summer Internship Technical report
1.10 Pages 7th & 8 th
In these pages the candidate must provide a table of contents, list of tables, list of
figures, photographs and notations.
NOTE: All the above pages are to be numbered in Roman numerals of
lower case and the rest of the report should have English numerical
numbers.
1.11 Arrangement of Topics:
The following is suggested format for arranging the report matter into various
chapters. However this arrangement can be changed to suit the particular
Summer Internship work.
1. Introduction
2. About the Industry
3. Detailed work carried out in the Industry during the internship program.
4. Theoretical Analysis.
5. Final conclusions if any.
