SCRIPT FOR THE OPENING PROGRAM OF THE BSP AND GSP BACKYARD
CAMPING
*****
Sir EJ: Being a scouter is not an easy task since you have a lot of duties and
responsibilities to perform; however, if you live by the heart the promises and the laws of
being a scouter, nothing is impossible to do.
*Good Afternoon everyone! Welcome to the 2023 BSP and GSP School Backyard
Camping of Quilo-Quilo North Elementary School with the theme QQNES Iskawt:
Pagbuo ng mga Kasanayan sa Buhay at Pagpapanatili ng Katatagan at Disiplina.
Mam Sheng: For us to know the fulfillment of the Scout’s promises, a camping is held here at
Quilo-Quilo North Elementary School in which the campers are grouped together to unite
and to build a good relationship.
Sir EJ: This afternoon, we will assess the good attitudes of our scouters through our Backyard
Camping. To start with, may I request everyone to please stand up for the opening prayer to
be led by Mrs. Lanie M.Ilagan, GSP Co-leader, to be followed by the singing of a Nationalistic
Song to be conducted by Mrs Leah T. Abante, School BSP Co-Leader.
Mam Sheng: Our Flag —the Sun and Stars —is the living symbol of our country, the
Philippines. It is the emblem of our nationhood, of what we have been, of what we are, and of
what we hope to be. In our flag are crystallized our common aspirations as Filipinos and
our collective vision for our country's future. To lead the Pledge of
Allegiance, may I call on BSP Ezekielle L. Malaluan.
Sir EJ: Girl Scouts of all ages recite and live by the ideals listed in the Girl Scout Promise and
Law. They remind us to do our best in being kind to others, respecting ourselves, making the
world a better place, and so much more. The Girl Scout Promise is a commitment families can
make to support the local Girl Scout community as they grow, bond, and learn together. To
lead the Promise and Law of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, may we have GSP Alyssa
Louise Malatad and GSP Ahyishanel G. Rosales.
Mam Sheng: The Scout Oath and Law are shared by every member of the scouting group. An
oath is a way a scout agrees to act every day towards one another and other people,
and the Law outlines a way to act towards one another and the world. To lead the Oath and
Law of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, may we have BSP Donwayne Ravanne D.
Gonzales and BSP Cleaian Carl M. Rivera.
Mam Sheng: Thank you to our BSP and GSP. At this point, we will now hear the voices of our
BSP and GSP for the Community Singing.
*Thank you BSP and GSP.

Sir EJ: For more than 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values
found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in
helping the youth to grow to their full potential being. Scouting helps the youth develop
academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that
influence their adult lives.
Mam Sheng: To promote and encourage professional development among leaders and
scouters, may I call on stage our School Head,…. Mrs. Rosemarie T. Bariuan to give us
her opening remarks. Let’s give her a big round of applause.
*Thank you Ma’am Rose.
Sir EJ: At this juncture, may we hear a message coming from our Brgy. Captain, Hon. Heriel C.
Bautista. Let’s give him a round of applause.
*Thank you, Sir.
Mam Sheng: Let us hear another message ming fro the Committee on Education Chairman,
Hon. Marlon G. Pesigan.
*Thank you Sir.

Mam Sheng: Alright, before we end this part of our activity, may we have Mrs.Eliza
M.Silva, our school GSP Coordinator to give us the Camp Rules and Activities.
*Thank you, Ma’am Eliz.
Sir EJ: I bet all of us here are already excited to explore, play, learn and enjoy this School
Backyard Camping.
Mam Sheng: Before we end the program and proceed to the different activities this
evening, may we remind the scouts to always obey your leaders and teachers in
charge to avoid any unfortunate event. Always remember to have fun and enjoy the rest of the
day. Thank you!
