Early registration aimed at encouraging parents or guardians to register their children in schools ahead of the
regular school year. It ensures the right of all school-aged learners to enroll and be equally provided with quality,
accessible, relevant, and liberating basic education. It helps the department to collect early enrollment data to
assess the need for teachers, classrooms, and educational resources, prepares school for the incoming learners
including staffing, materials and facilities, and ensures that learners from marginalized or undeserved

According to the DepEd Order No. series of 2025, Early registration for the school year 2025-2026 of incoming
Kindergarten, Grades 1, 7, and11 learners in public schools shall be conducted from January 25 to February 15,
2025. Also, this reiterates the provision in DO03, s. 2018, that all incoming learners enrolling in Kindergarten and
Grades 1, 7, and 11 in all public elementary and secondary schools shall pre-
register or participate in the early registration to allow DepEd to make the necessary preparations and
adjustments of plans for the incoming SY 2025 – 2026.
The Matatag Integrated School has been actively and religiously participating in this essential activity for our new
learners. The school with the supervision of the school head Mr. Juan Dela Cruz conducted a meeting on January
20, 2025 among Kinder, Grade 1, Grade 7 and Grade 11 teachers in preparation for the launching of Early
Registration. All concerned teachers were diligent in participating and doing their assigned task for the early
registration. The school also initiated various strategies to inform the public and the parents on the early
registration. The following activities was conducted, Parent’s Orientation which helps the parents to get
important information on the early registration. In addition, posters, online platforms, and barangay coordination
have been made to ensure that the community is aware of the early registration and encourage the parents to
enroll their children following the requirements needed.
The Matatag Integrated School worked as one in delivering DepEd’s mandate on Early Registration ensuring that
parents and learners get the needed information for the upcoming school year 2025 – 2026.
