GSM-AUTO Optical Line Protection
Introduction:
GSM-AUTO Optical Line Protection Device can be used for OFC path protection in Telecom
for DWDM, OTN, OCPAN, CPANEquipments where the necessity of 100% uptime of the
network is required.
It can be operated in two modes,
1. AUTO Mode - When the Received Optical Power in Normal OFC Route
is <-25dBm then the Equipment connected in Normal will be diverted to Alternate
OFC Route automatically within 8 ms.
AUTO Revertive - When the Received Optical Power in Normal OFC Route
is >-21dBm then the Equipment connected in Alternate will be reverted back to
Normal OFC Route automatically within 8 ms or after WTR of 100 seconds. ( User can
SET in switch).
2. GSM Mode - In this mode User can SEND SMS to the Device for
Diverting and Reverting operation, it works independant of the Receive Optical Power
level.
