ESSENTIAL TOOLS
IN PC ASSEMBLY
PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER
The Phillips screwdriver is used to secure and
loosen cross-head screws, which are commonly
found in PC cases, power supplies, and some
hardware components.

Recommendations:
Use a magnetic-tipped Phillips screwdriver for
easy handling of small screws. The magnetic tip
helps hold screws in place, making it more
efficient and less likely to drop or lose screws
during assembly.
SCREW TRAY
A screw tray, also known as a screw organizer, is
used for holding and organizing screws and small
components during PC assembly.

Recommendations:
Opt for a transparent screw tray with multiple
compartments. This allows you to see the contents
clearly and helps keep screws sorted by size and
purpose, making them easy to access during
assembly. Magnetic tray for a spill-free.
HEX NUT DRIVER
A hex nut driver is used to tighten or loosen
hexagonal nuts or bolts, often found on CPU coolers
and some other PC components.

Recommendations:
Use a set of hex nut drivers with various sizes to
ensure compatibility with different hardware
components. Ensure the driver has a comfortable
grip for efficient use.
FLASHLIGHT OR HEADLAMP
A flashlight or headlamp is used to provide
additional illumination in areas with limited
visibility, such as inside a PC case or when working
in low-light conditions.

Recommendations:
Choose a flashlight or headlamp with adjustable
brightness settings for versatility. In tight spaces,
a headlamp can be particularly useful as it leaves
both hands free for work.
ADJUSTABLE WRENCH
An adjustable wrench is used for tightening or
loosening nuts and bolts of various sizes, typically
found on PC case standoffs and some connectors.

Recommendations:
Select an adjustable wrench with a comfortable
grip and a wide jaw opening range to
accommodate different-sized fasteners. Ensure it
is well-maintained to prevent slipping and
damaging components.
