Abstract

Chapter 1 Introduction

This edutrack application is designed to improve online learning at

your comfort or any preferred location. With the advancement of
technology and the growing need for accessible education, online learning
has become an essential tool for students and professionals.

The digital revolution has transformed the way of knowledge acquiring.

Due to the characteristics of mobile devices, and the experience of
teachers and educational institutions, students may experience distractions
in their learning and may be involved in inefficient educational
methodologies.

Due to the accessibility and opportunities offered by this technology, it is

important to investigate how to harness and exploit the benefits of e-
learning as well as to identify its main problems. That is why this paper,
through a previous literature review aims to explore and identify the
benefits of using mobile devices in current education. In the same way, it
identifies the main problems to be overcome for the proper deployment of
this technology in educational environments. [5].

When implementing a mobile application in curriculum, instructors need to

clearly state the goals of using the application to make sure the students
understand the purpose of using the application for course work, how it is
connected to the curriculum, and how it will improve their learning [1].

E-learning refers to the use of Internet technologies to deliver a broad array

of solutions that enhance knowledge and performance. E-learning can be
used by medical educators to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of
educational interventions in the face of the social, scientific, and
pedagogical challenges noted above. It has gained popularity in the past
decade; however, its use is highly variable among medical schools and
appears to be more common in basic science courses
