Smart Money Concepts (SMC) Entry Types - Cheat Sheet
1. Order Block Entry
Wait for price to return to a bullish or bearish Order Block (OB). Enter inside the OB after a liquidity grab or
structure shift. Stop-loss below/above the OB.
2. Break of Structure (BoS) + Retest Entry
After a structure break, price often retests the broken level. Enter on the retest with confirmation (e.g., wick
rejection or engulfing pattern).
3. Liquidity Grab Entry (Stop Hunt Entry)
Price takes out a key high/low, triggering stop-losses, then reverses. Enter after rejection or a Change of
Character (ChoCH).
4. Fair Value Gap (FVG) Entry
Imbalance or gap between candles. Enter when price returns to fill the FVG, especially if aligned with
structure or liquidity.
5. Change of Character (ChoCH) Entry
A strong impulse breaks short-term structure, hinting at a trend reversal. Enter on confirmation after the
ChoCH.
6. Rejection Block Entry
Look for wicks that sweep liquidity but close with strong rejection. Enter on the next candle confirmation.
7. Flip Zone Entry
Support becomes resistance or vice versa. Enter after the flip is confirmed with a reaction or rejection pattern.

8. Mitigation Entry
Price returns to mitigate a previous OB or position. Enter at that zone, ideally with other confluences.
Bonus: Confluence Entry (Sniper Style)
Combine concepts like OB, FVG, Liquidity Sweep, and structure shift. Enter when 3+ align for a
high-probability sniper entry.
