Best Ways to Defend in PES 2021 PS2 Crymax Edition

Jockey Defending (Contain)


Hold R2 to stay in front of the attacker. Don't rush; let the attacker make a mistake.

Time Your Tackles


Press X (Standing Tackle) or Square (Sliding Tackle). Avoid spamming tackles to prevent fouls.

Use Super Cancel


Hold R1 + R2 to manually control your player and stop auto-movements.

Cut Passing Lanes
