Anchor 1- ये रंगमंच है, सिर्फ़ लकड़ी का नहीं,


हर एहसास यहां साँस लेता है कहीं।
कभी हंसी, कभी आंसू बन बह जाता है,
हर किरदार यहां खुद को कह जाता है।
परदे गिरते हैं, कहानियां बच जाती हैं,
रंगमंच की बस यही बातें रह जाती हैं।

Welcome you all to Badlaav 2025. Badlaav- the annual theatre festival of Rukmini Devi Institute of
Advanced studies, a cultural extravaganza which offers stage to several artists to showcase their

talent.
Anchor 1-With immense pride and passion, we present — Badlaav 5.0." Which began as a
humble initiative by Pratigya The theatre Society of RDIAS in 2016, has today grown into a
celebration of art, expression, and storytelling.

Anchor 2:
"So... to pave the way for the rays of emotions,
To light up this stage with the brilliance of talent,
To gather every artist on this very platform,
And to break free from the inevitable social norms..."

"With that, let’s begin with MonoAct Competition!


Anchor 1- "It is our honour and privilege to extend a warm welcome to our esteemed judge for
today’s event — the guiding light whose presence adds grace and wisdom to this celebration of art."

Ms. Aparna Mudgal, is a multifaceted artist, excelling as an actor, poet, writer, linguist, and
costume palatte enthusiast. She holds a Master's degree in Linguistics from Mumbai University.
With an extensive theatre experience of more than 7 years. Aparna specialises in Solo Theatre
Productions which has been staged at esteemed theatre festivals of the country. Her expertise
extends to conducting voice articulation & writing workshops in several institutions across Delhi
NCR.

Anchor 1- "Now, before starting with Mono Act Competition, we kindly request your attention
as we walk you through the rules and regulations of the event, to ensure a smooth and enriching
experience for everyone present."
 The performance should not exceed over 5+1 minutes.
 Use of Hindi/English or both is allowed.
 Multiple entries from the same college are allowed.
 Vulgarity in any form should not be used; sexiest, racist, casteism, homophobic, or
transphobic remarks shall lead to the immediate disqualification of the participants.
 Costumes and props are to be arranged by the participants; however, we can provide
you with two chairs and one table at most.
 Music, if needed, should be prepared before and given to the organizers in a standard
secondary storage device.
 The participants must bring their college ID card.
 The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
