Autotrophic
An autotroph is an organism that can produce its own food using light, water, carbon
dioxide, or other chemicals.

Chlorophyll
Chlorophyll is a green coloured pigment found in plants.

Heterotrophs
The organisms that depend on other organisms for nutrients and energy are considered
heterotrophs.

Host
The plant from which the parasite takes nutrients is called its host.

Insectivorous
Some plants eat insects, Such plants are called insectivorous plants.

Nutrient
The components of food necessary for the body are called nutrients.

Nutrition
Nutrition is the mode of taking food by an organism and its utilization by the body.

Parasite
