On behalf of the University Senate, Iam pleased to inform you that following approval of your application to pursue university studies by
the Admissions Conmmittee, the University Senate has admitted you to the Mount Kenya University Diploma in Journalism and Mass
Communication diploma programme. The programme is offered in the School of Social Sciences, Department of Journalism and
Mass Communication in Main Campus (Thika), Regular Mode. Your choice to study at our university could possibly be the wisest
decision you have made in pursuance of your further studies. The University will strive to offer to you holistic education and training.
Besides the University having adequate and appropriate academic resources, the University is 9001:2015 ISO Certified. In addition, the
University has adequate and appropriate teaching facilities and student support systems.

Please note that reporting and registration date is 03-Jan-2024 and the last date of registration is 05-Jan-2024.

During registration, you willbe required to present the original and copies of your academic certificates, national identity cardipassport,
NHIF card OR Medical Insurance Cover Policy Number, one 1 x 1 colored passport-size photograph and duly flled registration forms
provided or obtained from the University website, www.mku.ac. ke.
The fee payable will be as follows:
Tuition KShs. 29,550 Per Semester / Trimester /Session
Practical fee KShs. 5,000 Per Semester /Trimester /Session
Statutory Fees KShs. 12,000 Per Annum
Quality Assurance Fee KShs. 1,000 Once

Fee payment should be made in the name of Mount Kenya University at the following banks:
