The Fourth
Geometric Origami Convention
GMT0 19-20/4/25
Welcome to
The Fourth Geometric O rigami Convention
The fourth GOC is here, and we wish to celebrate the beauty and
cleverness of the vast field of the folded geometric creations!
As before, we curated a mix to suit everyone, with modulars, flat and
kusudama, tessellations, and single sheet marvels. We approached new
artists, asked them to share some of their great works, and we dived deep
into the archives to find hidden treasures, so we won’t forget them!
Some of the creators will come and teach themselves, and some will be
taught by us.
This year we have two options to enjoy the event:
• The regular option is our usual ticket, to join the live event, and get
the videos for a year.
• The premium options include an access to the live event, and the
recordings forever. Just like buying a book, whenever you want to fold
a model from GOC, it’s there!
So, choose your best fitted options, and join in! We would love to have
you with us!
Come and GOC
with us!

How to convert the times
to your local time
This booklet shows all times in GMT [0].
[0]. If your local GMT is not the same, you
need to convert the times to your local time in order to know when a specific
workshop is taking place.
The easiest way to do that is by adding the workshops you want to attend to your
calendar:
In this booklet, every workshop’s page contain this button:
19 April
13:30 - 14:15 GMT[0]
Clicking this button will add the event to your own calendar, in your local time.
(The right time will be shown only after you SAVE it!)
Another option is to calculate the time difference by yourself:
To verify your own GMT, go to this site. There is no need to input any information.
Please be aware of the [+] or [-] signs!
Take the “time” in this booklet and add your own GMT (or subtract, if yours in a
[-] GMT). The result will give you the workshop's hour in your local time.
For example, if you live in Mexico, your GMT is [-6].
According to the booklet, the “Leaf Wreath” workshop starts at 13:30.
Subtract 6:
The “Leaf Wreath” workshop will starts at 7:30 AM Mexico time.
Workshops
We wish to thank the creators, who gave us
permission to teach their models, and the authors
and teachers, who actively participate in the event.

Prepare your Paper
Be prepared with the right paper and all other tools needed! Look at the workshop
page for the recommended paper type and size.
Some workshops require preparations in advance! The workshop will start
assuming you have done those preparations!!
To make it even more enjoyable and fun, equipped yourself with some unique
papers before the event. It is definitely possible to fold all the models in this booklet
from plain Kami paper, but taking this extra step will help you make it even more
beautiful. The paper types on the model-pages are our own recommendations for
the best suiting paper for each model.
You can find all these papers at

Difficulty Level
Our models range from simple to difficult but mostly simple-intermediate to high-
intermediate. You may try to fold them all, but some may be too difficult for you
to enjoy.
Please, make sure the level of difficulty fits your experience level.
You can join every workshop you’d like, but please note that workshops will not
slow down for the slowest person in the class. This simply cannot happen with
such a big group of folders.
If the pace is too quick or you need a repeat, please write these requests in the
chat window during the workshop. Our moderators will constantly be checking
the questions and depending on the number of requests balances with the time
allotted for the workshop, will ask the teacher to slow down, repeat, etc.
Simple workshops last up to 45 minutes and the longest workshops last up to 90
minutes.
Online Code of Conduct
1. It is important to us that all participants ask questions and make comments in
the chat in a respectful way. Therefore, we have established a Code of Conduct
for all attendees to follow. If an attendee violates the Code of Conduct, they
will receive a warning. A subsequent violation will result in being removed
from the live session. The attendee will still receive the recording of the class.
2. No typing in CAPS LOCK. This is the equivalent of yelling which would not be
acceptable at an in-person event.
3. Do not share negative criticism of the teacher, teaching style or class. It is not
the time or place and would not be acceptable at an in-person event.
4. Do not repeat questions if they are not answered right away. Many questions
are being asked and there is one moderator handling all the questions.
5. Do not ask to have steps repeated multiple times. The teacher is going at a
certain pace in order to complete the class within the allotted time period. He/
she will be repeating steps twice. You will be getting a link to the recording of
this class if you are unable to keep up. These questions and comments will just
be dismissed.
