Ship Generator Troubleshooting Guide

1. Generator Fails to Start

Possible causes: Low fuel, air in fuel system, dead battery, faulty starter motor, or safety shutdown.

Actions: Check fuel system, battery, starter, and reset any safety trips.

2. Generator Starts but Shuts Down

Possible causes: Low lube oil pressure, high coolant temperature, overspeed.
