Australia is a country known for its rich culture.

The main language spoken in Australia is Australian


English. Their writing system is the Latinh alphabet. Australian culture has many important festivals and
customs. One of the most important festivals is the Melbourne Cup known as Australia's major
thoroughbred horse racing. The event starts at 3pm on the first Tuesday in November, it is a 3200 meter
race for horses 3 years old and up. Australian music and fashion are also very unique. Didgeridoo
Traditional Music: The most famous traditional musical instrument of Australian Aboriginal people,
usually made from hollow tree trunks. The sound emitted from the didgeridoo has a distinctive bass and
can be used in ceremonies or community activities. Australian fashion is Dirndl. It is an outfit with a very
unique way of tying the apron strings. The position of the bow tie can have a symbolic meaning about
the wearer's marital status. Australian cuisine is very rich including vegemite, chiko roll, meat pies and
sausage rolls. In short, Australia has many cultural treasures to explore
