Safe Installation Guide for Cracked PC Games
1. Download Visual C++ and DirectX
Download and install the following components only once:
- Visual C++ Redistributables:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
- DirectX Runtime: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
If FitGirl includes a folder named Redist or CommonRedist, install from there directly by running the setup
files.
2. Save Files Location and Protection
After installing a game, save files are typically stored in:
C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\[Game Name]
To protect your saves:
- Add this folder to Windows Defender exclusions
- Back up the folder manually if you want extra safety
3. What is DLSS?
DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is an NVIDIA RTX feature that boosts performance by rendering
games at a lower resolution and upscaling using AI. It maintains visual quality while improving FPS.
Enable DLSS in the game's graphics settings if available, especially for demanding games like The Last of Us
Part I.
4. Running the Game as Administrator
Safe Installation Guide for Cracked PC Games
Running as administrator is recommended:
- Right-click the game's .exe
- Select 'Run as administrator'
To make it permanent:
- Right-click > Properties > Compatibility tab > check 'Run this program as administrator'
5. Mounting ISO Files
You only need to mount the ISO once during installation. After installing the game, you can unmount and
delete the ISO - it's no longer needed to play.
To mount:
- On Windows 10/11, just double-click the ISO file.
6. Summary
- Install VC++ and DirectX once per system
- Protect save files by excluding their folder from antivirus
- Enable DLSS for smoother gameplay on RTX cards
- Run games as Administrator to avoid permission errors
- ISO files are only needed for the install, not for playing
