Why are enterprises choosing AWS?
Increased agility has become the
#1 reason businesses use the AWS
cloud
Enterprises Can’t Afford to be Slow
Old World: AWS:
Infrastructure in Weeks Infrastructure in Minutes
Add New Dev Environment
Add New Prod Environment
Add New Environment in Japan
Add 1,000 Servers
Remove 1,000 servers
Deploy 2 PB Data warehouse
Shut down 2 PB Data warehouse
Everything changes with this kind of agility
A Culture of Innovation: Experiment Often and Fail Without Risk
$ Millions On-Premises Low Cost
Experiment Infrequently Experiment Often
Failure is expensive Fail quickly at a low cost
Less Innovation More Innovation
Many Enterprises Worry That These are the Only Two Choices
Build a Rip everything out
“private” #1 #2 and move to
cloud AWS
The Good News is that Cloud isn’t an ‘All or Nothing’ Choice

How to create Virtual Server using EC2?
Route 53
• A hosted zone is analogous to a traditional DNS zone file;
it represents a collection of records that can be managed
together, belonging to a single parent domain name. All
resource record sets within a hosted zone must have
the hosted zone's domain name as a suffix.
• A hosted zone is a domain, basically. A single zone file
also includes all subdomains though. E.g.:
a.example.com, b.example.com and www.example.com
would all be in the same zone file.
