Accelerometer Sensor

The ENDEVCO Model 6240M56 accelerometer is designed for turbine engine vibration measurement, featuring low sensitivity deviation with temperature and high operational resistance. It has a charge sensitivity of 50 pC/g, a resonance frequency of at least 15 kHz, and operates in extreme temperatures from -65°F to 930°F. The device is sealed to prevent leakage, can withstand significant shock and vibration, and is constructed from Inconel 600 with a specialized cable design.

0 DESCRIPTION
The ENDEVCO® Model 6240M56 (Vibro-Meter 144-303-000-011/111) accelerometer is
designed to be sensitive to mechanical vibration of turbine engines and is sturdy enough to
withstand adverse operational environments. The transducer has an improved design
which provides low sensitivity deviation with temperature while maintaining high
operating resistance.
Electrically, the Model 6240M56 signal output is isolated from the case and is taken via an
integral shielded, twisted pair hardline cable, with a metallic overbraid, through a 2 pin,
MIL 83723, 10 shell connector with key position N.

The following Performance Specifications are taken at 80°F (27°C) referenced at 100 Hz and
conform to ISA RP 37.2 (1-64) unless otherwise noted.
