Buzz Lightyear Crochet Pattern (Amigurumi)

Designed Based on Visual Reference - For Personal Use Only

Materials:

- Worsted weight yarn in white, green, purple, black, red, and blue

- 3.0 mm or 3.5 mm crochet hook

- Fiberfill stuffing

- Yarn needle

- Stitch markers

- Safety eyes (10-12mm) or black yarn for eyes

- Scissors

- Optional: pipe cleaners for shaping limbs

Abbreviations:

- MR = Magic Ring

- sc = single crochet

- inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)

- dec = decrease (sc 2 stitches together)

- st = stitch

- ch = chain

- sl st = slip stitch

- BLO = back loop only

- FLO = front loop only

HEAD:

With skin-tone yarn:


1. MR, 6 sc (6)

2. inc x6 (12)

3. (sc, inc) x6 (18)

4. (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)

5. (3 sc, inc) x6 (30)

6-12. sc around (30)

13. (3 sc, dec) x6 (24)

14. (2 sc, dec) x6 (18)

15. (sc, dec) x6 (12)

16. dec x6 (6)

Fasten off, leave long tail. Stuff firmly before closing.

BODY:

Start with white yarn:

1. MR, 6 sc (6)

2. inc x6 (12)

3. (sc, inc) x6 (18)

6-10. sc around (30)

Change to green:

11-12. sc around (30)

Change to black:

Fasten off and stuff.

LEGS (make 2):


Start with green:

Change to white:

Fasten off, stuff lightly.

ARMS (make 2):

Change to purple:

Fasten off, stuff lightly.

WINGS:

Make 2 rectangular panels with stripes in red, white, and purple.

Edge with green yarn, sl st around.

Join wings with green strip across the top of the back.

DETAILS:

- Add buttons and panel designs on chest using yarn and embroidery.

- Eyes can be safety eyes or embroidered.


- Use black yarn to embroider eyebrows and mouth.

ASSEMBLY:

1. Sew head to body.

2. Attach legs to bottom of body.

3. Attach arms to sides.

4. Attach wings to back.

5. Embroider or crochet chest details.

6. Add final facial features.
