Details Required for Maintenance of Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

General Maintenance Supplies:

1. Engine Oil:
a. Grade 10W-50 4T BS-VI fully synthetic (Main fill: Part No. 83020578/83020576
(1L/1.2L), Top-up: Part No: 83020577 (100ml bottles))
b. Fill: 1.7 Liters
2. Coolant:
a. Bajaj Coolant Koolex (Part No. 36001058)
b. Fill: 1.3 Liters
3. Brake Fluid:
a. DOT 4 Brake Fluid (Part No. 36DH4061)

Alternative Supplies for Regular Maintenance:

1. Engine Oil:
a. Motul 7100 4T API SN Fully Synthetic Ester Petrol Engine Oil for Bikes, 10W50 –
1L (Quantity: 2)
2. Brake Fluid:
a. Motul 847205 RBF 660 Factory Line Dot-4 100 Percent Synthetic Racing Brake
Fluid – 500 ml (Quantity: 1)
3. Chain Cleaner and Lube:
a. Motul Combo of C2 Chain Lube (400ml) and C1 Chain Clean for All Bikes (400
ml) (LBCH014) (Quantity: 1)

Daily Maintenance Routine:

1. Clean the Bike with Micro-fiber Cloth at the end of the day

Weekly Maintenance Routine:

1. Pressure Wash the Bike


2. Check Nuts for tightness
3. Check Engine Oil Level, Brake Fluid Level, Coolant Level

Once in 2 months:

1. Foam Wash
2. Pressure Wash
3. Chain Clean
4. Chain Lube
5. Brake-pads Cleaning
6. Body Polish
7. Tyre Pressure Check
8. Bike Cover Cleaning
9. Chain Slack Check (15-25 mm)
10. Clutch Lever Play Check (2-3 mm)

Once every 5,000 Kilometers:

1. Valve Adjustment
