Creating an email account follows a similar process across different email


providers like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, and others. Here are the general steps:

Step 1 : Choose an Email Provider

Select an email service such as:

• Gmail (gmail.com)

• Yahoo Mail (mail.yahoo.com)

• Outlook (outlook.com)

• ProtonMail (proton.me)

Step 2 : Go to the Sign-Up Page

1. Open a web browser and visit the provider’s sign-up page.

2. Click “Sign Up” or “Create Account”.

Step 3 : Enter Your Personal Information

3. Fill in your first name and last name.

4. Choose a unique username (this will be your email address, e.g.,


yourname@example.com).

5. Create a strong password and confirm it.


Step 4 : Verify Your Identity

6. Enter your phone number (optional but recommended for


security).

7. If required, enter the verification code sent via SMS or email.

Step 5 : Provide Additional Information

8. Enter your date of birth and gender (if required).

9. Optionally, add a recovery email for account recovery.
