Use dbca to create a database

Click on Advanced Configuration


The choice of template depends on the primary workload and purpose of your Oracle database. The
"General Purpose or Transaction Processing" template is suitable for most standard operational
applications, while "Data Warehouse" is for analytical systems, and "Custom Database" provides granular
control for specific or advanced scenarios.
We will learn about Container and Pluggable db in coming lectures.
Datafiles,Controlfiles and Other Oracle DBA related files will be stored in Db file location.
Leave the above boxes unchecked.
Leave these options.
Enter oracle as password

Finally create the database.


Click Finish

Click details or check logs to what is happening
