Specific Guidelines:

1. Nutri Quiz Bee


a. Open to selected students per section.
b. Participants will compete in 3 rounds: Easy, Average, and Difficult.
c. Questions will focus on nutrition month theme.
d. Each question has a time limit of 10–20 seconds.
e. 2 or 3 members per section.
Judging Criteria:
Number of correct answers.

2. Slogan and Poster Making


a. 1-2 representatives per section.
The slogan must reflect the 2025 theme: Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong
Sapat Para sa Lahat, Food at Nutrition Security maging Priority!
Sapat na pagkain Karapatan natin!
a. Poster must be hand-drawn using crayons, colored pencils, or oil pastels (no
digital).
b. Time limit: 45 minutes

Judging Criteria:
❖ Relevance to Theme – 30%
❖ Creativity and Originality – 25%
❖ Visual Impact – 20%
❖ Neatness and Presentation – 15%
❖ Slogan Content/Grammar – 10%

3. Fruit Carving (Apple)


a. The contest is open to all interested students, with 2–3 participants per group.
b. Each group must bring one red apple, a paring knife, and a chopping board.
c. The carving design is free choice but must be suitable for school presentation (no
offensive or violent imagery).
d. No images, print-outs, or reference guides are allowed during the contest. The
design must come from the students’ own ideas and memory.
e. Only one to two apple per team is allowed. No additional fruits or props can be
added.
f. Carving must be done on the spot within the 30-minute time limit.
g. Participants must observe safety and cleanliness at all times.
h. After time ends, participants will step away, and judges will evaluate the entries.
Judging Criteria:
❖ Creativity- 30%
❖ Neatness- 25%
❖ Overall appeal- 20%
❖ Degree of Difficulty- 15%
❖ Cleanliness and Safety Observed- 10%
