My Mini Business Idea: From Concept to Prototype

Instructions:

My entrepreneur students! Write/type and put in your Big Notebook, you will create
a business concept for a new product by completing FOUR parts:

Part I: Product Description (25 points)

Create a product description that includes the following:

✅ Product name
✅ What the product is and how it works
✅ Key features
✅ Benefits to users
✅ Who your target market is

Use persuasive language, creativity, and real-life inspiration.

Part II: Pricing Strategy (25 points)

1. Estimate the cost of materials needed to produce one unit of your product.
2. Choose a pricing strategy (e.g., cost-based, value-based, competitive).
3. Show your computation:
Selling Price = Cost + Mark-up
4. Justify why your pricing is reasonable for your target market.

Part III: Product Prototype (30 points)

Create your proposed product

✅ Take a photo of your product


✅ attached picture of teachers who critique your products

Part IV: Prototype Testing & Feedback (20 points)

1. Give your products to at least 3 people (teachers and Admin).


2. Ask for their feedback using the form below:

Reasonably priced with minor value gaps
4. Originality & Creativity (20 pts)
Extremely unique and innovative; stands out in the market
Creative idea with some unique elements
Some creativity shown; concept feels familiar
Unoriginal or copied concept

5. Market Fit / Target Appeal (20 pts)


Ideal for target market; strong appeal and relevance
