01 Ggplot2 Fundamentals Cheatsheets Basic Geoms

This cheat sheet provides guidance on selecting the appropriate aesthetics for various geometric objects in data visualization. It categorizes aesthetics such as x, y, fill, alpha, color, width, and size based on whether they should be mapped to discrete or continuous variables. For detailed references, users are directed to the website ggplot2tor.com.

BASIC GEOMS

Use this cheat sheet to find the right aesthetics for your geoms. Fist, find the
visualization you want to create, and then have a look at the corresponding
aesthetics. Based on the color and form of the aesthetic, you can see which
variable types to use and whether the color can be mapped to variables.
