Role: Data Engineer
Location: Mumbai
Qualifications: Bachelors in engineering preferably in Computer science and understanding of
trading domain.
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience as data engineer, Prior experience in trading firm with
exposure to international exchanges will be an added advantage.
Shift Timing General Shift: 830 AM to 630 PM

Job Purpose
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to architect data systems for international exchanges.
2. Design, develop, and manage large-scale data processing system.
3. Optimize large-scale ETL processes and data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
· Develop solutions for data ingestion, data transformation, and storage that improve efficiency and
performance.
· Build fault-tolerant data platforms using modern tools and frameworks.
· Design, implement, and optimize systems to handle large-scale, high-volume data sets.
· Drive the adoption of best practices for data governance.
· Automate recurring actions and contribute to the evolution of application architecture.
· Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and scalability.
· Mentor junior engineers and help them grow in technical skills and domain knowledge.
Technical Expertise: · Java, Spring, Microservices, Python
· Databases (preferable – ClickHouse and Postgres)
· Bash shell scripting, Kafka
· ETL development, data warehousing, CI /CD, Jenkins
