Installation of the Device Drivers for Windows 98
Before the installation, please read the README.TXT file in the USB Floppy
Disk Drive Device Driver CD-ROM disc for updated information and software
license agreement.
To install the device driver for Windows 98, please follow the instructions below.
1. Insert “USB Floppy Disk Drive Device Driver” CD-ROM disc into the
CD-ROM drive on your PC.
2. Connect the USB floppy disk drive to the USB connector on your computer.
The Add New Hardware Wizard window appears.
3. Click Next. The following window appears.

4. Select Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended). Then
click Next, the following window appears.
Place a tick mark in the Specify a location check box. (Be sure to deselect
all the other check boxes.) Click the Browse button, then to locate & select
the CD-ROM drive and then the folder Win98.
5. Click Next. The following window appears.

6. Click Next to install the device driver. The following window appears.
7. The device driver installation completes. Click Finish.

Installation of the Device Drivers for Windows 2000
Before the installation, please read the README.TXT file in the USB Floppy
Disk Drive Device Driver CD-ROM disc for updated information and software
license agreement.
To install the device driver for Windows 2000, please follow the instructions
below.
1. Insert “USB Floppy Disk Drive Device Driver” CD-ROM disc into the
CD-ROM drive on your PC.
2. Connect the USB floppy disk drive to the USB connector on your computer.
The Found New Hardware Wizard window appears.

3. Click Next. The following window appears.
4. Select Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended). Then
click Next, the following window appears.
Place a tick mark in the Specify a location check box. (Be sure to deselect
all the other check boxes.) Then click Next, the following window appears.

Click the Browse button, then to locate and select the CD-ROM drive and then
the folder Win2000.Me.
6. Click OK. The following window appears.

7. Click Next to install the device driver.
8. The device driver installation completes, click Finish.

Installation of the Device Drivers for Windows Me

Disk Drive Device Driver CD-ROM disc for updated information and software

To install the device driver for Windows Me, please follow the instructions below.
1. Insert “USB Floppy Disk Drive Device Driver” CD-ROM disc into the
CD-ROM drive on your PC.
2. Connect the USB floppy disk drive to the USB connector on your computer.
The Add New Hardware Wizard window appears. (Be sure to select the
Automatic search for a better driver (Recommended).)

3. Click Next. The following window appears.
Select the Driver Description item CITIZEN X1-USB Floppy which is
located in the folder WIN2000.ME (as shown in the picture above) inside
CD-ROM drive.
4. Click OK to install the device driver. The following window appears.
5. The device driver installation completes, click Finish.

Before the installation, please read the README.TXT file in the USB Floppy
Disk Drive Device Driver CD-ROM disc for updated information and software
license agreement.
To install the device driver for Windows XP, please follow the instructions below.
1. Insert “USB Floppy Disk Drive Device Driver” CD-ROM disc into the
CD-ROM drive on your PC.
2. Connect the USB floppy disk drive to the USB connector on your computer.
The Found New Hardware Wizard window appears.
Select Install the software automatically (Recommended).

3. Click Next. The following window appears.
4. The device driver installation completes, click Finish.

如下窗口出現。
只在複選框[指定的位置]中附標誌， (請務必使其他所有複選框為空白。)
並單擊[瀏覽]來選擇 CD-ROM 驅動磁盤光牒內的 Win98 文件夾位置。

2. 將 USB 軟盤驅動器與您的電腦上的 USB 連接器連接，則[尋找新增硬體精
靈]窗口出現。
