Wolves
Wolves can be grey, black, white or brown.
There are wolves in sixty countries. There are
wolves in Ukraine, India and China. There aren’t
any wolves in Australia.
Wolves are big. Lots of wolves are a hundred
centimetres (cm) long. They’ve got a long tail. Some
are fifty cm long. They’ve got forty-two teeth. A wolf
can run at sixty-five kilometres per hour (kph)!
A wolf family is called a ‘pack’. There
are four to nine wolves in a pack.
Wolves eat birds and fish.

called ‘cubs’. This mother’s got four cubs.
