Example 1 :
Descriptive Paragraph: Eye Camp at School
During the summer vacation, our school organized a free eye camp for the
benefit of the students. The camp was held in the school auditorium, which
was well-equipped for the purpose. Well-known eye specialists from reputed
hospitals were invited to conduct thorough eye check-ups. The camp began
with a short welcome speech by our principal. Students were examined one
by one, and those with vision problems were advised to wear spectacles or
take further treatment. The specialists also educated us about the
importance of eye care and hygiene. The event was very well managed and
proved to be extremely beneficial. It helped many students become aware of
their eye health. We are thankful to the school for organizing such a thoughtful
camp.
Example 2 :
A Visit to a Historical Monument
During our school trip last month, we visited the famous Red Fort in Delhi. As we entered the
grand gates, we were amazed by the magnificent red sandstone structure that stood tall and
proud. The fort's architecture reflected the rich Mughal style with beautifully carved arches,
intricate designs, and lush gardens. Our guide told us many interesting facts about its history and
importance during India’s independence. Walking through the fort felt like travelling back in
time. We clicked many pictures and explored various sections like Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-
Khas. It was an educational and exciting experience. The visit not only enriched our knowledge
but also filled us with pride in our country's heritage.
Example 3 :
A Rainy Day
Last week, we experienced a sudden downpour in the afternoon that turned the entire day
into a magical scene. The sky, which was bright in the morning, slowly turned dark with grey
clouds. Soon, heavy rain started falling, and the streets were filled with water. Children
came out with umbrellas and raincoats, jumping in puddles and enjoying the cool breeze.
The trees looked greener and fresher after the rain. The sound of raindrops and the smell of
wet soil created a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Though the roads were muddy and
traffic was slow, the beauty of the rainy day brought joy to everyone. It was a refreshing
break from the summer heat.
